The Board and CEO of Homicide Victims’ Support Group (Aust) Ltd express our deepest condolences on the passing of Ken Marslew AM, a tireless advocate, a courageous voice for victims, and a leader whose life’s work transformed countless others.
As the founder of Enough is Enough Anti Violence Movement Inc., Ken was a pioneering force in Australia’s victim-advocacy landscape. His determination to create safer, more compassionate communities reshaped public conversations around violence, restorative justice and healing. Through offender programs, counselling services, education initiatives and community outreach, Ken championed the belief that meaningful change is possible when courage and compassion meet action.
Ken devoted his life to standing with those affected by violence, ensuring they were seen, heard and supported. His work challenged systems, influenced policy and provided pathways to rehabilitation, accountability and hope.
His legacy endures in the survivors empowered by his advocacy, the families strengthened by his compassion, and the communities inspired by his vision of a kinder, more responsible society.
We honour Ken for his extraordinary contribution and acknowledge the profound loss felt across the victim-support sector and beyond.
Our thoughts are with his wife Lynette, his family, friends and all who were touched by his remarkable life of service.
May he rest in peace.
